Who is the challenge for?

Anyone!  Any business owner, whether you're near the start of your business or a bit further on, if you struggle with:

- what to say about what you do

- what to write in your social media

- getting visible and getting your business out there to more people

- Turning your audience into actual buyers and fans.

What am I going to learn about and how will it help my business?

The challenge is all about your brand messaging, so that you can communicate what you do, and why, how, and who for, to your audience, to easily turn them into buyers and fans.

Getting super clear on your brand messaging will:

- Accelerate the know/like/trust process so your potential customers and clients want to buy from you

– Connect you to your audience much more easily, and turn them into buyers and loyal fans

– Enable you to share your personality and build your personal brand whilst you’re at it too.

When and where will the challenge take place?

The challenge lives will take place inside a private pop up group on Facebook, at 9.00am(UK) every day from Tuesday 20th September to Friday 23rd - I will confirm times in the group.  And then we'll have a wrap up masterclass on Monday 26th September.

How long does the challenge take?

It's just for the week of 20th-23rd September, with a live Tuesday to Friday that week and the masterclass on Monday 26th.  Each live will probably be around 20 minutes or so.  The lives will stay in the Facebook group until the end of the month so you can catch up if you can't see them all live.   

But it will be better if you take part in the week of the challenge, to be more likely to take action alongside everyone else. There will be a little challenge for you to do after each live session, to put what you've learnt into practice too :)

I'm not very good at waffling, so all the challenge lives will indeed be full of useful info, and I'll just be live for twenty minutes or so each morning, no taking up loads of your time!  

Do I need anything to do the challenge?

No!  Just yourself.  Pen and paper to take notes :) 

Sign up here in the Academy to take part, and you'll also get access to a workbook every day to write your notes in, learn more about each day's topic, and help with the challenge. 

How does it work?

- Sign up to the challenge in here, then you can download each day's workbook in turn to learn more and fill it in to help you with each day's challenge.  Plus that means you'll get email reminders too.

- Come along to the lives each day if you can, or watch a replay of them that day if possible so you don't get behind. 

- Do the mini challenge, and comment in the Challenge Accountability thread for each day to show you've done it. 

- Come along to the final day's live masterclass on using your Messaging Magic, to find out the challenge winners, and celebrate the end of the challenge :)

But I did it last year!

It's still worth doing again this year!  I'll be updating and amending the challenge info a little, but also, your business - and you - can change a lot in a year.  And it's definitely worth taking another good look at your messaging to see if you need to or want to update any of it.

Why is there a charge for taking part in the challenge?

I have found that paying for a training, even just a small amount, really helps me actually turn up to the live sessions and do the work in between - and so that's what I now do with the trainings I run! 

It means that I get a little back for all the info I give you over the challenge week, and you have the impetus to learn loads from me, take action and implement something that will really supercharge your business and be worth far more than I'm charging!  And of course you get to know me, see how I teach and what I'm like, and find out if you'd like to learn more from me after the challenge too.

So who’s teaching you all this?!

Hello!  I’m Jane, a branding photographer based in Kent, UK.  I have been taking photos since I was at least seven, when my favourite birthday present was my first camera!  My first proper job was in a picture library, selling photographs – but I soon realised that I wanted to be the one taking them, so I found some evening classes and got learning properly.  Then followed nearly a decade of photographing for other companies, before children, and redundancy, led me to starting my own photography business.

I love meeting and photographing other amazing business owners, and have discovered that I love teaching them to build better brands too, so that their photos work even more effectively for them but also so their business grows too, with strong foundations and a personal brand backing it all up and helping them stand out.
